Our Fancy Ladies
The momma cows at Riverbend Bar Milton have been handpicked for our prestiges breeding program. With decades of experience under our belt we are proud to say that we truly created a herd that is up to our standards and ever evolving.
We love how our Highlander ladies pass on tons of fluffy coat and how the White Park girls give selected calves the unique, off-colored, tipped ears and nose.

Scottish Highlander
Rumor
Yellow Cow with horns. Mini sized. She is curious and wants to be very friendly. Her calfs are generally on the smaller size and chrondo positive! She is a good momma and pretty protective those first few months. For this reason we start grooming and hand walking her calves a little later than most.

Scottish Highlander
Nubbins
Yellow Cow with horns. Very small mini sized. Nubbins is a funny lady with lots of character. With her fluffy bangs hanging in front of her eyes she likes to tip her nose up and get a good look at you from underneath all that fluff. Her calves are smaller than most but not always chrondo. She has birthed all kinds of calves; bulls, heifers, red, yellow, white tipped, you name it! Every year is a new surprise with Nubbins!

Scottish Highlander
Sylvia
Silver cow with horns. Very small mini sized. Sylvia is the only girl in our herd that will pass on that beautiful silver gene. Her calves are often a lighter color and have very defined bone structure, making them desirable for a breeding program.

Scottish Highlander
Tina
Yellow cow, BLUE EYES and with horns. Larger mini sized. Tina is a funny one! She throws the most friendliest, in-your-pocket calves and is usually the first one in spring to birth! But she can a bit more timid and will only come to you when you have a bucket full of treats. Her calves tend to be thick boned and she has thrown both chrondo and non chrondo calves. Anyways, if you are looking for the cuddliest calf in there herd, chances are it is hers!

Scottish Highlander
Mathilda
Yellow Cow with horns. Mini sized. Mathilda is curious and spoiled! She like her face brushed and is always sniffing around for treats. She has beautifully shaped horns and usually passes that on to her calves.

Scottish Highlander
Doreen
Birdle cow with horns. Mini sized. Spring 2025 will be Doreen's first calving season and we can not wait to see what she has in store for us!

Scottish Highlander
June
Yellow cow with horns. Mid sized. June is an old soul, she is mellow and quiet and always seems to be doing her own thing.

Scottish Highlander
Jewel
Dun cow with horns. Mid sized. Jewel is one of our greatest mommas and her unique dun color produces rare colored calves!

Scottish Highlander
Emily
Red cow with horns. Mid sized. Emily is a late bloomer. She likes to get bred last and then have her calf at the end of the summer. We usually keep them through the winter and send them to their new homes early to late spring. Even though Emily is the only, larger, mid sized cow in our herd she tends to birth micro calves! Most of them inherent her beautiful, traditional looking red, long haired coat.

Scottish Highlander
Bertie
Yellow cow with horns. Mini sized. Bertie very friendly and wants know everything about everybody. She gets used to new people fairly fast and is fine with people touching her calves all over. Most of her babies are a beautiful yellow color and with so much fluffy hair. She has thrown both mini and micro calves!
